Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of helpmebuild.ai (“HelpMeBuild.AI”, “we”, “us”), operated by Getfocus LLC. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What the service is

HelpMeBuild.AI helps people with a software or product idea describe it through a guided survey (a “Product Profile”) and receive an assessment, action plan, and estimated budget and timeline. Our team reviews AI-assisted drafts before they are shown to you. The service is an informational starting point, not a commitment to build anything.

Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding agreement, on your own behalf or for the business you represent.
• Give accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• One person or business should use one account. Don't create multiple accounts or use automated means to get around the free-tier limit.

Free tier

Each account can create up to 3 Product Profiles free of charge, each including one hour of live consultation with our team. To request more, email support@helpmebuild.ai. We may change the free tier, add paid options, or end the free tier in the future, and will update these terms when we do. No fees apply unless you agree to them in writing.

Estimates are not guarantees

Assessments, action plans, budget ranges, and timelines are good-faith estimates based on the information you provide. They are not quotes, offers, or guarantees of price, schedule, or results, and they are not legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. Actual cost and time depend on scope that may only become clear during discovery. Any paid project work happens only under a separate written agreement.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you submit. You give us permission to use it to provide the service, including having our staff and our AI and hosting providers process it as described in the Privacy Policy. Only submit information you have the right to share, and don't include passwords, payment card numbers, or other secrets in your Product Profile.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful;
• use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to create accounts or submit content, or try to bypass our bot protection;
• probe, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data;
• submit content that infringes others' rights or that you don't have permission to share.

We may suspend or remove accounts or content that violate these terms.

Our property

The site, its design, and the software behind it belong to us and our licensors. These terms don't give you any rights to them other than using the service as intended. Assessments and plans prepared for your Product Profile are provided for your own use in your business.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or to protect the service. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limits of liability) will survive.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. AI-assisted content can contain mistakes, and although our team reviews it, we don't warrant that it is complete or error-free or that the service will be uninterrupted.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the service. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are material we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept them.
